We want to ensure you have the most memorable experience possible so we have compiled some helpful FAQs as well as some tips and tricks for making your travel and vacation seamless!

 

What does VIP All-Inclusive really mean?

​Through our ownership at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club, our guests receive VIP Gold Bands which gives you access to amenities and services such as VIP Only restaurants, beaches, bars, entertainment, and more. As an owner, we can give you these privileges without you paying any additional fees.

Is there a catch? Do I have to attend a sales pitch? Is this a Time Share?

There is no catch, no sales promotion, no time share presentation that you have to attend - there is NO CATCH AT ALL! Just come and enjoy yourselves! As owners we wish to extend to you a vacation to remember! Why? Because we know you will refer your friends & family and have an experience that most could not have had otherwise! Phil The Lifestyle!  Is the All-Inclusive Fee Negotiable?

No. The All-Inclusive Fee is a mandatory fee set by Lifestyles and is non-negotiable. All-Inclusive rates are determined by accommodation type. Children between 3 and 11 years old are 50% of the standard all-inlcusive rate. Children 3 and under are no charge.

Are there any additional fees once I arrive?

There are no hidden fees, however, you will pay an entrance fee per person upon arrival into the Dominican Republic. You will pay $10 for their Tourist Card before clearing Immigrations at the airport - cash only.

How do I arrange for my ground transportation to/from the airport?

Your transportation to/from Puerto Plata Airport (POP) is included in your reservation and handled by Lifestyles.​

Do you need a passport to travel to the Dominican Republic?

Yes. A passport is required to visit the Dominican Republic. All guests regardless of age require a passport including infants & children.

Is there a minimum night stay?

Yes. We require a three night minimum stay for each reservation.

 Does the resort offer child care?

Yes. The resort does offer child care and this can be arranged at any time while at the resort.

 How often do the prices change, if ever?

All pricing is subject to availability and seasonal demand. Your pricing will not change once your travel quote and invoice has been sent to you.

I saw many different reviews online, what's the difference between the levels of service? How do I know what level of service I am getting?

We are Chairman's Circle Members, the highest and most exclusive level of owenrship at Lifestyles. That guarantees that our guests traveling to the resort will receive VIP Gold Bracelets and VIP access throughout the property.

What are your recommendations if I want to do something outside of the resort?

​There is local Brugal Rum factory tour, the Puerto Plata Cable Car tour, Christ on a mountain, local beaches around the island, horseback riding, a local casino and local shopping all minutes from the resort!

Do I need to exchange any U.S. Dollars for Dominican Pesos?

No, The resort as well as all vendors that we have found take American Currency.

If I experience any problems while vacationing, who can I contact?

​You may contact us at anytime during your travel at 832.283.0025 | info@philthelifestyles.com or you may speak with your VIP concierge that is assigned to you during your stay as well as visiting VIP Services on the property.

I'm planning a group trip, many of my guests would like more information, is there a way to get us all connected to discuss all options at one time?

​Yes. We offer conference call options, SKYPE video conferencing, Hangouts conference video and group text/email communication options. Please let us know your desired method for connecting your group and we will send you the details to connect.

What is your cancellation / re-booking policy?

If you need to cancel or amend your Reservation you must write to us or email us as soon as possible. A cancellation will not take effect until we receive confirmation in writing or via email from you.
A cancellation or amendment will VOID all previous reservation request and a new reservation request has to be made; there is NO guarantee there will be availability.
You have 14 business days from receipt of deposit to cancel your reservation for a full refund. After 14 business days no refunds will be given; your account will be credited the money paid for future travel (must be rebooked within 180 days).
